Hoy es mi cumpleaños número 47 ! Nunca pensé que el tiempo se fuera tan rapido y que pudiera decir que con los años me fuera sintiendo cada vez mejor. Tengo muchas cosas que agradecer a la vida y cada dia ha sido una nueva oportunidad para seguir aprendiendo y creciendo como ser humano. Hoy, puedo decir que he encontrado la mejor forma de vivir en equilibrio como pareja, madre y mujer y eso puede ser lo mas cercano a la felicidad que he probado hasta ahora. Today is my 47 birthday! I never had thought that time went sofast and I could say I feel much better with the years. I have so many things to be grated for in life and each day it has been a new opportunity to grow and learn as a human being. Today, I can tell I found the best way of living on balance as a wife, mother and woman and that is the closestof happiness I have tasted till now. Hola!, ahora tengo muchas cosas que mostrarle, pero he decidido resurmirlo en imagenes por que el tiempo pasa tan rápido que cuando termino algo ya hay otro proyecto por hacer!! Mi proyecto mas viejo fue reciclar una vieja falda tejida en lana, bueno ví un gato en internet y pensé que sería buena idea así que lo hice! My old project was to recycle an old knitting skirt, so I saw a cat in the internet and I decided it would a good idea for it. So I made it!
Despues de casi 4 meses de no ver a mi grupo de alumnas del otro lado de la ciudad, finalmente nos reunimos para actualizarnos. Malú comenzará a acolchar este precioso quilt y Nicole nos mostró una colchita preciosa que le hizo su hermana a la pequeña Sarah, no es preciosa? After almost 4 months without seeing my students from the other side of the city, finally we could gather and caching up. Malú will start to quilt this wonderful project and Nicole showed us a gorgeous little blanket that her sister made for little Sarah, isn´t it gorgeous?
Finalmente terminé el traje de mi amiga y así quedó, desafortunadamente no pueden verse bien los detalles en la foto, es dificil el negro con una camara como la mía, en fin, a ella le gusto mucho y creo que se vera regia! Finally I finished my friend´s garment and here it is, unfortunately little details can not be seeing in the photo, it´s hard to take pictures with my little camera but black, well she likes it and I think she will look great!
Organizé un curso para hacer estas pequeñas gallinitas pintadas que aprendí con Pam Holland. Estuvo divertido y todo salió muy bien, creo que tiene muchos retos y bastantes tips para un solo día, pero a mis alumnas le encantó y lo pasamos muy bien!! I organized a class to made this little hens painted in fabric, I learned it from Pam Holland. It was fun and everithing was fine, I believed it has a lot of challenges and tips in the project for just one day but my students were happy and we have fun together!!

Por último, hoy es dia de los muertos y no tuve tiempo de hacer una gran ofrenda, asi que esto es lo que pude poner ayer para que nuestros muertos nos acompañen hoy durante el día, mole, tamales, fruta, pan,camote en miel, tequila, agua, sal, bueno por lo menos vendran un ratito, no? Last, today is the day of the dead and I had not enough time to put a big "ofrenda" (offering), so this is what I can do for our dead people in order they come and join us tonight: mole, tamales, fruit, special bread, tequila, water and salt, at least they will come for a while, right?
Les deseo que los espiritus de las personas que amaron los acompañen e iluminen desde hoy y para siempre mientras terminamos de recorrer este camino en el que estamos. I wish the spirits of your dead beloveds join and enlighten you since today and forever, while we finish this journey on earth.
