Hace como 2 semanas terminé finalmente este suéter, lo había comenzado hace como 3 o 4 años!!Si, es uno de esos proyectos que se inician con entusiasmo pero que se van posponiendo y posponiendo hasta que un día se da uno cuenta de que allí hay algo por enfrentar y terminar.
Lo increíble es que cuando lo retomé llevaba la cuarta parte de la espalda y el resto solo me tomó una semana para terminarlo, increíble!
El hilo me lo regalo mi suegra, es Mohair italiano y no saben lo delicioso y calientito que se siente.
Ahora empezaré a planear otro proyecto tejido con las últimas lanas que me mandó de Francia.

Yes, it was the kind of projects that we procrastinated until one day we realize there is something we have to confront and finish. It was incredible to realize that I finished it in just one week even when it was just quarter back part done!
My mother in law gave me the Mohair Italian yarn, and you never know how soft and warm it feels.
Now I am going to plan a new knitting project with the last wool yarn she sent mt from France.
Otro de mis proyectos fué un regalo para el hijo de Nicole que cumplio 13 años y festejó su Bar Mitzvah en compañia de su familia y amigos.Nicole le hizo un quilt y yo le hice la funda para su almohada en el centro escribi con plumón su nombre y la fecha de su cumpleaños en Hebreo.
Other of my projects, was a gift for Nicole´s son, he is 13 years old and celebrated his Bar Mitzvah surrounded for family members and friends.
Nicole made a quilt for him and I made the pillowcase, at the center I wrote his name and his date in Hebrew.
En el taller Mari Carmen terminó su primer proyecto, le quedo muy bonito. Lo acolchó a mano en muy poco tiempo, estoy muy orgullosa de ella y ella feliz de terminar otro proyecto, las dos iniciamos el año con mucha energía.Espero podamos seguir concluyendo muchos proyectos este año. Por lo pronto quiero contarles del nuevo reto que tenemos un grupo de alumnas y yo.
El reto es hacer un quilt llamado Dear Jane. Es un quilt de 1863 y esta hecho de 169 bloquecitos, es un gran reto para mi por que aunque Esther compró el libro no tiene los patrones ni las instrucciones; asi que es todo un desafío el poder hacerlo. haremos un bloque cada semana durante el año, ya les iré mostrando poco a poco como vamos.
In the studio Mary Carmen finished her first quilt it looks beautiful. She quilted all by hand in a few time, I am very proud of her, we both started the year with so much energy.
I hope we can conclude so much projects this year. And let me tell you about the new challenge I have with some students.
The challenge is to make a very famous quilt called Dear Jane. It was made in 1863 and it has 169 little blocks, it is a big challenge for me because even when Esther got the book it has not the patterns or the instructions on it; so that´s why it is going to be a challenge, we will make one block each week during the year, I will let you know how everything is going.
