Casi listo! Almost done!

Ayer por la tarde encontré el tiempo para poder montar este patchwork, el cual espero poder acolchar este fin de semana. Me gustó mucho como quedó y el proceso de elaboracion fué muy interesante.

Yesterday afternoon, I found the time to made my "sandwich" of this patchwork , I hope I can quilt it during this week end. I like it very much and the process of doing it, it was very interesting.

Definitivamente el appliqué es una de mis tecnicas favoritas, aunque no es rapida ayuda a tener paciencia e ir aprendiendo calidad poco a poco, en fin la recompensa ha sido gratificante.

Definitely appliqué is one of my favorites techniques,although it isn´t fast, it help me to be patient and get quality, in the end the award has been gratifying.

Aqui esta sobre mi mesa de trabajo, lo voy a acolchar en maquina de coser, por que estoy organizando una exposición de quilts de mi escuela y este debe estar allí, por supuesto!
Here it is on my work table, I will quilt it on my sewing machine, because I have to finish it before the exposicion I am organizing for my school and it has to be there of course!

Este es un detalle del proceso de bordado en la orilla. Bastante laborioso pero divertido. This is a detail from the process of the edge embroidery. Quite laborious but fun.

Cómo fuí armando las orillas: primero el apliqué de las ondas, despues el bordado sobre el apliqué y al final el marcado y bordado de las ondas azules de arriba. El proyecto decía que solo se pegarán con el bordado, pero creo que vale la pena un trabajo de calidad en algo tan bonito, así que primero se cosen y luego se bordan. How I made the edges: first I did the appliqué of the waves, then the embroidery on the appliqué and at the end I marked and embroidered the up blue waves.The original projet said I just put the waves with the embroidery, but I thought that will worth it to do a quality work here in such a beautiful project, so first sew the waves and then embroider it

Este es el jardín en la parte trasera, a la derecha esta el higo, se ve lindo verdad? La naturaleza ha sido generosa este año!

This is the back garden, on the right is the fig tree, the garden looks nice, doesn´t it? Nature has been generous this year!
