Concurso-Challenge

Después de mucho tiempo de no escribir, finalmente aquí estoy otra vez. Estuve muy ocupada haciendo un trabajo de patchwork para un concurso en Francia. Mi meta fué
diseñarlo y terminarlo y si fuera posible, seguir el proceso hasta el fin.
Bueno, pude hacer todos los procesos, pero cuando tuve que enviar las fotos no seguí las especificaciones y bueno no fuí seleccionada. Pude haber hecho el envío de fotos como lo pidieron y aún asi no ser seleccionada, pero bueno nunca lo sabremos.
Aquí pongo unas fotos de todo el proceso, el tema fue : Los colores de la bandera de un País. Yo me inspiré en el códice Boturini, que habla de la fundación de México Tenochtitlán.

After a long time, finally I am here again. I was so busy doing a patchwork for a challenge in France. My goal was to design and make it, following all process from the beginning to the end. I could do it, but when I had to send the pictures I didn´t follow all the specifications they asked for, so I was not selected, anyway if I had sent all by the book, I could not be selected, we never will know.
Here are some pictures of all the process. The subject was: The colors of the flag of a Country. I was inspired from the codex boturini, it speaks about the foundation of Mexico-Tenochtitlan my City.


Despues de horas y horas de trabajo y acolchado, quiero decir que me sentí muy orgullosa de mi trabajo y de haber hecho algo así por primera vez, no será la última por supuesto!
After hours and hours of work and quilting, I felt very proud of my work and made something like this for the first time, of course it won´t be the last!
